When I was on The Delingpod most recently, host James asked me to confess what my "guilty secret" was where it came to throwaway TV that we know we shouldn't be watching, but shamefacedly watch anyway.
I do think if head wear is obscuring recognition during a 'papers bitte!' session with Border Force, for example, then just for a few seconds this should be fine and not prevent placing the item back on one's head.
As for the 'stories'.... the 'bridge to nowhere' which ignored the way councils are funded or that the construction opened up further planned house building, the Izzy book burning outside the Turkish Consulate (a pretty weak performance), the Mutha Ukraine Plucka attack with drones thousands of km from Ukraine.... even the 'split' between front man Elon Musk and The Don....
It's all hot air.
Energy still costs too much, Net Zero is still expensive junk, work ethic is mostly crushed, the economy is wilting under shambolic Uniparty Ivory Tower 'ideas' along with excessive taxation.
In other words, there are some huge problems which need addressing while MSM and the Uniparty try to distract us all.
Absolutely, Kevin. All engineered as ever, as well as being designed to foment such a backlash that it ultimately brings down Islam which - along with Christianity - is one of the most powerful political obstacles in the way of the communist atheist One World (John Lennon's Imagine as blueprint).
Teen mom! It's good to hear you're human Miri and sometimes sucumb to the black box of evil, last night I had a couple of red wines and went down memory lane listening to Radiohead. My teenage daughter popped her head in and said "I thought that music was satanic and all lyrics were designed to lower your vibrations (she's been listening!)". I told her to sod off and poured another glass of red :-)
Great points/burns of fiction. Also how does being worried people are going to take shots at him in public equate shielding his head with a baby, wtaf? Reminds me of the that Bob carton with the baby as a stab vest.
Well done, my new fave analyst of conspiacies and critic of political theater...you've been in the biz long enough to be able to use Peter Cook's rejoinder to Dudley Moore without paying a royalty, so the next time someone asks, "Did you notice that...", feel encouraged to let 'er rip... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbnkY1tBvMU&t=49s
It’s funny that you mention “Friends”. That series began in the mid-90s and at the time I avoided it like the plague. It looked like the worst kind of US dross to me – this little coterie of cute youths who radiated affluence and who, despite constant complaints about their problems, clearly didn’t have any problems.
But only a few years back I caught the whole series and, although my aversion is pretty deep and still stirring, I adjusted to it and enjoyed it and then I found, to my surprise that there was a certain nostalgic ring to it. It was like a relic from a time before all the shit started. Of course I am aware that the shit was always there but the “Friends time” seems relatively innocent. This is emphasised by the long shots which nearly always involve the twin towers. And if there is one symbol of a vanished time, that’s it.
The Friends characters themselves have a likeable callowness to them. They are like starry eyed teenagers. Especially compared to the shallow cynicism of Seinfeld. I find Seinfeld to be funny but there are no likeable characters. In this “show about nothing”, no-one ever learns anything. And Jerry himself frankly looks like a psychopath with that vacant grin.
Anyway, it’s just odd how “Friends” seemed to me to be transformed from a programme I “loved to hate” in that teenage way whereby I would snootily declare it beneath me to something that seems almost cherishable now. I now see it as a contrived piece of fluff that is moving precisely because of its complacent banality, reminiscent of a time when nothing seemed to matter and I could comfortably wallow in all the pop bric-a-brac in an eternal adolescence.
Dear Miri,

Successive governments all turned a blind and excusing eye to the effects of lax immigration control but allowed common dissent to grow until they have now found the solution: 'Digital ID's for everyone'. © T. Blair. This, we recall, was also the solution to the pandemic.
Makes one think if it's all rather planned. Problem-Reaction-Solution.

Haha, excellent!

Many thanks, Infanttyron! Praise indeed :)

Brilliant Miri... thanks again..very thought provoking as usual....if the present reality is this distorted then surely our history is as well?
