Back in July 2023, I wrote an exposé of the deeply dodgy fundraising platform - beloved of "alternative" celebrity multi-millionaires such as Andrew Bridgen and Laurence Fox - Democracy 3.0.
Bloody hell Miri, another blinder. I also think that nonone was actually thrown in prison for those Southport riots, just another case of them wanting to make you think that 24month sentences can be handed out for waving a chair in the street (or something). Thing is, they don't need to scare us into not tweeting cos the censorship, shadowbanning is pretty robust at keeping the rebels out of the limelight.
Thank you, Mary, and I totally agree. Anyone who is genuinely a threat can just be shadow banned, de-platformed and de-monetised. To turn them into a political martyr by sending them to prison isn't in the establishment's interests at all. Hence why they don't!
The wording of the tweet itself was so contrived that it immediately struck me as an op. I obviously didn’t always have this matrix awareness, your posts have really helped me fine tune it.
Laurence Fox (I did initially type Lozza but deleted it as he isn’t my friend or someone I like) is arguably the king of these contrived posts & videos on social media. I was still bit of an infant truther when he set fire to the pride flags in his garden but it immediately struck me as a piece of scripted outrage theatre. Soon after this ridiculous staged event I came across your work & all the jigsaw pieces started to come together.
I was happy to see that his latest legal fundraiser on that money laundering platform has raised a total of £5! And thanks for highlighting Saint Calvin’s appeal for a house! This apocalypse is too funny 😆
Thank you Deenzy, and all very true. I sort of like to call him Lozza, because I find it such an inappropriate name for "the leader of a political party" (who at one point was describing himself in his official bio as a "trans lesbian of colour") that I think it helps underline how farcical the whole thing is. I mean, imagine David Kurten, leader of Heritage, calling himself "Dazza"...!
Oh and an interesting point about Fox's fundraiser only raising £5 - you have to pay £500 to host a crowdfunder on Democracy 3. Why would Fox part with £500 for the sake of £5 and a fundraiser he doesn't appear to be promoting in any way? Looks like another way to wash money.
The £500 fee is obviously to put legitimate people off using the site, because why would anyone use such a low-profile, inept platform with such a whopping fee, when they can use an established and experienced one for no upfront cost?
Democracy 3.0 says it wants to "democratise political lobbying", but necessarily makes itself an anti-democratic closed shop by attaching a fee that very few could or would pay. Because as we have established, "crowdfunding" is not its real aim....
Miri, what do you mean when you talk about Toby Young and "we all know what we think about him"? I know him from the Free Speech Union and the Daily Sceptic - he seems able to look at some things and refuses to look at others, but my husband is the same so that could be just his defences about straying too far from the mainstream?
What I meant to imply, by virtue of then clarifying his new title and peerage, is that he is just another established "limited hangout" fraud. Makes some of the right noises in order to appeal to the dissident class, but ultimately is as transparently establishment as it gets. See his, now discontinued, "London Calling" podcast with James Delingpole. https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/london-falling/
Kathy, although I was aware that Toby (Mr Free Speech) Young was no someone I'd normally associate with in any way, I was glad of Lockdown Sceptics in 2020 when my partner and I thought we were the only people on the planet who questioned the Scamdemic. For a while, I posted regularly on the forum until the then Mr Young pulled the plug on it, somewhere around 2022 since, curiously, he apparently didn't like some of the comments people were posting (!)
I've heard it said that he believes in 'Free speech for me but not for thee' and I think that's fair comment. There is plenty more, easily findable online but for me, whichever way you slice it, supporting genocide is not a good look, your lordship.
I agree about Miri's article - an absolute cracker!

Thanks for another great article MIri, such clarity and vision, you join dots others don't see.
Many thanks, Karen!

Very good point! I was trying to remember what he called you on the Delingpod when he deliberately messed your name up?!
"Mao"...! (As in Chairman...). For a while after that, I took to calling him "Lizzo".

I'm lost for words. Mr A Pike has quite a few heroes.

This is an excellent article by the way, one of your best.
Thank you, Kathy!

Yes, I see what you mean. Thanks for responding.

Since then, I've become aware that Baron Young of Acton (since Feb 2025) is a eugenicist, someone who espouses homophobic and sexist views and, the final straw, a strident pro-Zionist. Along with his mates, Francis Hoar and Allison Pearson, he set up, 'British Friends of Israel' and then a petition https://dailysceptic.org/2023/10/23/sign-the-october-declaration-to-show-your-solidarity-with-british-jews/
