yes, now that you've put it out there Miri I find that was also my view!

I was thinking that another reason for these two, is for a coarsening of the public discourse. 'hey, everyone's made up that guy got shot in the back!' that sense of group decency we once had dies a little more. No need to say the same applies with Lily. And it ties in with something I've noticed from the Controlled Opposition media that are in the process of replacing the old MSM, they are much more coarse. Megyn Kelly will say 'Fuck You Obama!' as part of an opening monologue. One might agree, but you don't want to hear it said as part of political analysis. I had a similar reaction when I caught some of Britain's Got Talent, and saw the exploitation of the acts, and the circus atmosphere. It seemed to be some sort of distorted mirror that was being held up to the viewer 'this is the country you live in now'.

the Dumbing Down of our society.

Yes, I agree. Swearing in serious political analysis (as opposed to a Tweet or down the pub or whatever) seems inappropriate, and generally lowers the tone and the overall "energy". After all, it's called "cursing" for a reason.

Agreed and well observed. Comedians became the new “intellectual “ class , comedic timing , celebrity status and wealth, “f….ing” the hallmark of their considered opinions ( see Rogan , Brand , Benjamin et al ). Spawning unofficial comedians; Maddow , Edwards , Kelly … ad infinitum. “LL” I’m sure many will have commented on the surreal UK health service event in 2023.

Couldn't agree more Kevin. It's a combo of dumbing down and coarsening. I noticed it in myself after several seasons of watching "I'm a celebrity .." I was much less bothered by the trials. One minute the contestants were being made to eat a plant that smells like vomit and then three seasons later, it's a kangaroo's foreskin. I stopped watching when I realised that I wasn't nearly bothered enough about seeing someone in a coffin with rats crawling all over her - I'd been coarsened and de-sensitised. God knows what they're up to now on TV -I've stopped watching much at all.

I hadn't quite put it together like that, but you're right yes it's a desensitisation process. this tech is such a threat. I remember the same feelings when Jerry Springer first burst onto the scene, goading these unfortunates into fighting on stage. and before that, peoples's concerns when Murdoch took over the Sun. Maybe it's just the same strategy being repeated but with newer toys, of flooding the emotions so that the masses remain dull and controllable. Like when the Israelis flooded the tv stations in Gaza with porn.

I had barely heard of Luigi and not at all of Lily! As soon as I heard of the health insurance executive being shot, I said to my husband that it was strange, why would such a person be shot and then, before you know it, they identify the guy who supposedly did the job! I largely ignored the story because it seemed a total non-story as far as I was concerned. I haven’t heard or read a word about Lily! Should I be paying more attention to these kind of stories when they crop up? I don’t really want to waste my time. Anyway, it seems to me that Miri is almost certainly spot on yet again!!

"FYI this psy op is to get the poor to resent the rich and the rich to fear the poor."

You need a psy-op for that?

Appropriate that Owen referenced Batman though I think Luigi appears to be based on the Joker/Riddler archetypes along with a surprising number of these staged psyops. The grinning clown(s), his celebrity lookalike played the Riddler, kill the rich etc.

"What do you get when you cross a mentally ill loner with a society that abandons him and treats him like trash?! You get what you ducking deserve!" Joker (before shooting Murray in the head and escaping in a taxi).

Fits in with the idea that predictive programming is largely about making events that are faked years later more believable.

I've "entirely insulated myself from all matters media" but through revulsion rather than good sense (I miss quite a lot of pertinent events), yet it's impossible to avoid knowing the MSM agendas so I depend on alternative analysis for my sanity, and your writing now conveys such crystal clear concepts I depend on it.

To add to this article - I saw it mentioned that Brian Thompson wanted to step back into anonymity to avoid what is potentially coming for Fauci et al.

Seems spot on to me.

Makes so much sense. With the rise in Nationalist and "far right" conservative groups too, people will gladly accept their gilead style new world order. Can just see it now, the peoples heros. Trump, Elon, Nigel Farage, Peterson, Russel Brand, Mel Gibson, RFK, Alex Jones etc.... the new world order, controlled opposition. They know more people are becoming "aware" so they provide the heros. Crazy. They know people jump from one side to the other, never having a balanced view, doomed to repeat history. Left or Right, the answer I find is almost always in between both polarities.

Our world, so amazingly planned and contrived.

Excellent article Miri.

Rule of thumb: If the U.S. government wants people to fear something, that thing should be laughed at and/or ignored.

Very interesting, was going to mention Lily Phillips in my next substack (in passing only) but now consider myself warned and will revise!
