Netflix docudrama "Painkiller" Purdue Pharma - the drug oxycontin has killed over 450,000 people in the past two decades has been well described in books like "The Empire of Pain". Did any of the Sacklers go to jail? None of the Sackler family face legal repercussions directly.
Interestingly, RedIce TV further refer to the "Netflix series "Painkiller" about how the Sackler family engineered the opiod epidemic, yet never mentions that they are Jewish. But, as a Jew watching the docudrama, I cringed. Because everyone knows that the Sacklers are Jewish."
