Sadly, there are no independents running in my constituency tomorrow apart from an islamic independent whose priority is halal funeral processes (yet again, another outsider pushing the agenda of his own people). No other choice really except to spoil the ballot or to vote Reform (whose candidate here is clearly an east-asian, albeit she's anti-abortion and apparently a catholic). I've been listening to Thinking Slow's Rumble videos this week, and I totally agree with him about Reform - but tomorrow really is either a decision between spoil the ballot or vote Reform, as I cannot bring myself to vote for any other 'party'. What a complete mess this 'democracy' is in. I guess Thinking Slow is correct - if there's no-one to vote for, then you should just try to stand yourself.

Here's the sad line-up of options in my constituency:
I sifted through the options weeks ago. One candidate shows a better cut than the others. I'm not voting along national lines - I'm voting for the best MP to represent our area.
A man who lives in the area, who has written much that relates to local economics, and is not from any of the main parties. Meanwhile Labour fronted a candidate who did not live in the area and managed to say nothing that is not already published by HQ. Similar story for the Conservative candidate, who was the MP until the constituency was re-drawn. Lib-Dems could not be bothered - and it shows. Green Party candidate is known to me, is a good man - it is close.
I need and MP with the courage to say things that don't always sit well with the Blob.
