And with our biometric data in their database, they could pretty much take over our online lives...and our electronic assets. It would be difficult to prove we are actually the living human, as opposed to an online AI facsimile, short of an in-person meeting. They could declare us dead and the burden of proof would be on us to prove otherwise. Nice.

Fakery is a form of lying. Lies create something discordant and humans find that unpleasant. I'm hoping that the mad push towards AI deepfakery is so energetically soulless that it just dies a death.
