For sure the fires are not just affecting "regular" people, but very wealthy and famous ones, surprising actually, until it is put it into perspective. I wonder how many of them understand what is happening in the way that you have Miri. Probably not many, but they must be wondering why they can't get acting jobs anymore, unless they sell out to Marvel and wear those tight costumes, and why the state of California has been inverted into utter stupidity and chaos.

This all reminds me of a photo I saw of madonna sitting in a bathtub (of course we have to have the bathtub ritual) at the beginning of the fakedemic, calling the virus the "great equalizer" and how it's made us all "equal in many ways". The fires too, are showing everyone that no one is safe from the continual nightmare that is raining down hard on the US.

I don't care about hollywood and haven't for years. It's been mostly a cesspool of bad humor, immorality and a lack of integrity for many of the bad actors. The worship at the altar of mediocrity certainly looks like it's coming to any end. Soon there will be no more patting each other on the back and giving each other shiny things to boost their fragile egos.

I am sorry for their losses however. The loss of life, homes, and the complete devastation of lives.

Here's the Chief Information Officer for Los Angeles giving a speech about how the City will transform into a 15-minute city by embracing AI technology. He said this will be done in time for the City's hosting of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
