As we head for local council and regional mayoral elections on May 2nd, I explore the enduring beliefs in the conspira-verse that “if voting made a difference, they wouldn’t let us do it”, and “there’s no point voting, it’s all rigged anyway”.
As someone who possessed these beliefs myself until 2020, I can certainly understand where they come from…. However, with what I’ve learned in the last four years, I now strongly suspect these beliefs have been intentionally sewn and circulated by the establishment, as part of a cynical psy-op to neutralise us in an area where, if we act strategically, we can actually make a difference.

Today is an election day in London. I am not going as I see this pointless. I do not know any of the candidates. And the one that is currently holding the position was never my choice. But I played the game. No more. I do not do this until the people on the ballot paper will be known for me, or to my close circle.
I have an idea - I am sure it is not new, but I never understood this. This is about the way how to stop the expansion of the electorate areas and the introduction of the "Mayors" of big geographical territories. I see this expansion as a path to the global governance under the cover of "local people's will". But it is all about dividing people, as always.
On the ballot paper should be the option "No-one". But this option must be counted as valid and taken in the account in a way that if this "no-one" wins the election - the outcome of such result should be the position should be eliminated, and the electorate area should be decreased back and returned to the state prior when a "mayor of big geographical area" was established. Such rule would stop the endless expansion of the power of one elected position over the vast amount of people. People would find a balance between the power of one elected position and the amount of people this position has got the power over.
This should be part of electoral laws. May be this is one of the option we need to order our MPs to put into the laws.
Thank you Miri, for your work.
